A best friend in high school and a roommate in college. Faye was a very neat and organized person, but she had one habit that didn't fit. Whenever she (or I) dropped an ice cube....she would always say "Just leave it! It will evaporate."
Funny thing is that whenever I drop one now or since - I first think of her...then I let it evaporate.
I can't beleieve she's been gone for 35 years now. A wonderful friend from the age of four, she always tried to see the best in everyone. I think I miss her as much now as I did the day she passed. She would be all about this reunion, so those of us who are still on the planet need to cherish this time together!
