April 23, 1957 May 25, 2018 Burton Wayne Knighton, 61, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Lewis Gale Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Born in Covington, Va., on April 23, 1957, he was the son of Eugene and Martha Knighton. He was a retired salesman of apparel and greeting cards. Survivors include his two sons, Brad Knighton and wife, Britney, of Attleboro, Mass., and Tyler Knighton of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Olivia Grace Knighton, Owen Bradley Knighton, and Brooks Edward Knighton; sisters, Sandra Knighton Wilbanks and Linda Knighton Chandler; former wife, Bonnie Knighton; and life time friend, Bob Capito. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Oakey's South Chapel with Pastor Don Summerville officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington, Va.
